Delete your Elyptus account
In the app
- Open Elyptus and go to Me.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete account again to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away, and every phone signed in to it is signed out.
Without the app
Email hello@elyptus.app from the email address of the Google account you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. We’ll delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
Subscribed? Deleting your account doesn’t cancel the subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play: Play Store, your profile picture, Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
What’s deleted
- Your account: its Google identifier and email address.
- Every meal you saved, and every description, correction and estimate behind them.
- Your choices: nutrients shown, theme and daily goals.
What’s kept
- Backups: copies of the database are kept for up to 14 days, then deleted.
- Free meals used: how many each phone has used, with nothing else, so they don’t start again.
- The cost of each estimate: with no description and no link to you.
- Error reports in Sentry, which never contain your meals or email address, are deleted after 30 days.
If you never signed in
Your meals belong to that copy of the app, not to an account. Delete them in the app, and their words go from our server at once. Uninstalling the app doesn’t delete them. Anything left is deleted once that copy of the app hasn’t been used for 12 months.
